I had the absolute pleasure of being hired by Scott Stapp, front man for Creed, to shoot his concert at the Presque Isle Forum on September 3, 2017. Doors opened at 5:30pm, everyone got their beer and popcorn, found a seat (or their spot against the guard rails!) and ready to rock by 6pm when local band, Kindred, took to the stage to open the show. After Kindred, came Adelitas

I was a big fan of Drowning Pool back in high school. We all remember “Let the Bodies Hit the Floor”, right? Right. This was my first time seeing them live, and it was freakin’ phenomenal.Jasen Moreno, the lead singer, crawled INTO THE CROWD to sing a song with them. First time shooting Adelitas Way. It was also my first time hearing them, or of them. They put on a great show. Lots of enthusiasm and crowd engagement! I haven’t seen crowd surfing since the early 2000’s, ya’ll. Don’t forget to check out the other bands in the Make America Rock Tour lineup; Kindred, Trapt, Drowning Pool, and Scott Stapp! Just click on their respective band name.

This was not my first time shooting Kindred. Hell, it wasn’t even the 4th or 5th time! I guess you could say “we go way back”. Kindred was actually one of the first people, errr… group?, to hire me when I moved to Maine from Texas. If you have never heard of them, check out their latest music video:They’re growing up,  ya’ll. A few drummers have come and gone. A
