Amy + Mathew | A Real Maine Wedding
The day started like any other day. A fresh pot of coffee to aid in the charging of the last of my AA and AAA batteries and packing all of my gear into the truck. I left about 45 minutes early so I could capture all the details of the wedding. The drive was pleasant, the weather was amazing, and the sun was shining bright. (Last year, I had my first wedding at Lonesome Pine Trails and on my way, I got severely off track and lost somehow. This year, I knew exactly where I was going and how to get there!)
I arrived at Salon de la Vie right on Main Street in Fort Kent, Maine just in time to catch all of the ladies getting their hair curled, tossed, and pinned back perfectly. Everyone was full of laughter and the atmosphere in the salon was top-notch.
After leaving the salon, we arrived at the Maid of Honor’s home with a magnificent view of a marshy area in the valley. You could see for miles from her front steps and it took me a moment to take it all in. The women all touched up their make up, exchanged gifts, and got dressed to help their friend down the aisle. Strapless, pink dresses hung fromĀ individual hangers. The Maid of Honor has vibrant fuscia and pink flowers on her dress to distinguish her from the others.
Amy and Mathew brought their friends & families together at Lonesome Pine Trails in Fort Kent, Maine on June 28, 2014. This is a Real Maine wedding and I am pleased to have been a part of it. Congratulations you two!
The wedding was amazing, fun, and romantic! Here is a collection of some of my favorites from this real Maine wedding I was invited to attend…
